How to place your order
To place an order or request a quote you must provide me with a full name, address with zip code, and telephone number. This should be accompanied by a list of the species, size, and quantities you are interested in receiving from my current weekly stock list sent to email@example.com. I will then send you a quote. When you approve the quote I will then send a link to an electronic invoice. I will not send an invoice without approval via email Please do not just send funds without an invoice. Availability is subject to change before your order is completed. Species of fish quoted may be sold and become unavailable at anytime during correspondences. Unpaid invoices are only valid for 24-hours from the time they are sent. If an invoice has been sent and is not finalized by 10:00 am eastern time the day it was expected to ship, that order will not likely be shipped and you will need to reschedule the shipping date. Saturday delivery service orders must be finalized no later than 24-hours (Thursday evening) before they can be scheduled to ship. Also note, any invoice that is paid and is then cancelled will be subject to a non-negotiable 15% restocking fee.

All shipments are sent prepaid before any fish are pulled, packed, or shipped. Availability is subject to change before your order is completed.
I have no minimum order quantity or dollar amount within the United States. If you want 1 fish, I can ship 1 fish. However, please keep in mind that often the packing materials and shipping rate can exceed the price of the actual fish in this situation.
Also, please be aware that the shipping rate (UPS Next Day Delivery), Styrofoam shipping container, Cardboard liner, and 24-Hour Heat Pack(s) costs are reasonably added to all orders. The shipping rate is dependent on the actual destination, dimensions of shipping container needed, actual weight of the container, and any additional insurances that may need to be included.
Orders can typically be shipped 24 hours after they have been paid and finalized. Actual date of shipping will be confirmed by both parties before it is shipped. PLEASE NOTE: If you alter an order (add or subtract species or quantities) that has already been paid and finalized you will delay the shipment of that order by at least 24-hours. (packing, shipping rates and discounts may also be affected).
If an invoice has been sent and is finalized(paid) after 10:00 am (or Thursday evening for Saturday delivery) eastern time the day it was expected to ship that order will not be shipped that day and will need to be rescheduled.
Methods of payment:
Tangled Up in Cichlids accepts PayPal(preferred), Credit/Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) , Venmo and Zelle. For international customers we will provide the information for a direct deposit wire transfer.
Paypal: When your order is finalized you will receive a detailed invoice payable upon receipt. When that invoice is paid your order can be prepared for shipping.
Credit/ Debit card online: To pay my invoice without a Paypal account choose the 'pay as a guest' option. This will allow you to pay the invoice with any credit/debit card.
Credit/ Debit card offline: In order to process a credit card order manually you will need to supply me with the following information via email:
• Full name (as it appears on the card)
• complete card number
• expiration date
• 3 digit security code
• complete billing address and phone number of the cardholder
For orders exceeding $1,000.00 of fish (packing materials & shipping not included) on a single invoice. I will deduct 10% off of the invoice total of fish. (does not apply to already discounted wholesale orders)

You may send funds via PayPal to the above email address. Then I will email you a printable gift certificate for the lucky recipient. Special notes can be added to your gift certificate. I am sorry that I cannot hold specific fish seen on the stock list as ‘layaway’ for future purchases via the gift certificate. The recipient of the gift certificate will be able to purchase fish from a current up-to-date stock list when they are ready to order.
